HIGH HEELS ON HIGH HILLS

I thoroughly enjoyed these talks held at the Athens Plaza by ICAP group last September.

Speakers included leading Greek female professionals such as Aphrodite Panagiotakou of The Onassis Cultural Centre.

Talks included the topic of the gender payment gap discussing employment globally and in Greece, giving the example of how men in senior positions in Greece are paid 50 percent more than women in the same roles. Talks then moved on to more personal accounts such as how women balance family and professional life. There was also discussion on topics such as the importance of role models for women from an early age as well as ways to overcome gender in balance in the workplace.

So a slightly female orientated crowd..
