THE ALBERTINA MUSEUM, VIENNA

I enjoyed the vast collections of The Albertina, some of which is sprawled out over palatial spaces. I caught the exhibition Michaelangelo and Beyond which was a stunning exhibition of old master drawings including masterpieces by Dürer, Michaelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci.
In the modern section I particularly enjoyed the incredible, textured paintings by Max Ernst and a work by Rudolf Wacker.
